Youth Ministries

It is our goal to help each young person grow in their relationship with God.

We believe that every part of the body of Christ is valuable, and we are grateful for the ministry of our youth among us. These are crucial years when young people are beginning to formulate their own thoughts and beliefs and we desire our youth to fully embrace God’s call on their lives to be disciple makers. It is not the role of the Church to replace or step-in for parents but it is to equip and walk alongside them as they raise our youth up in the Lord.

For this reason, our youth ministries are designed for our youth to thrive within the 5 core commitments of Heartland.

  • We make disciples of all peoples.

  • God’s word is enough.

  • The gospel changes everything

  • The Spirit works actively today.

  • We need each other.

Please join us for a time of fun, worship, and serious study of the Word of God.

Youth Group

At Heartland Community Church we offer a place for high school students grades 9-12 a chance to make friends, learn, and have fun, all while growing in their relationship with God. Our hope is that students will have fun building relationships with like-minded peers. Our High School group welcomes students in grades nine through 12 from any and all faith backgrounds.

Our junior high youth group welcomes kids in grades 6-8 from any and all faith backgrounds to gather for fun, food, and fellowship. We explore the truths of the Bible through storytelling and teachings. We discuss worldly issues from a biblical perspective in a way young people can understand. Our hope is to see more young people saved, by grace, through a relationship with Jesus Christ.

We meet Sunday nights from 7-8 at the Church Office

Activities

  • We offer activities that are designed for teens to interact with each other socially, but our main goal is to help them deepen their understanding of the Bible and grow in their love for Jesus. We aim to teach our teens the that Gospel changes everything, including their time together. We want to model gospel-encouraged fun and laughter.

  • We have several activities planned throughout the year. All youth participants need to have the Consent Form on file. The form can be downloaded below and returned to the church or at the next youth event. Visit our church events calendar to find upcoming youth events.
